Wheelers Estate Editorial Wedding Photography

Wheeler's Estate is an exceptional location for wedding photography due to its unique combination of natural beauty, historical charm, and versatile backdrops. Located on a sprawling 2-acre estate, the venue offers a mix of lush green lawns, a rustic colonial-style building, and scenic pathways surrounded by trees.

The Morning

The day began with a beautiful traditional Singaporean Chinese wedding, where the groom arrived early in the morning to fetch his bride at her home.

Gatecrash

In classic fashion, the groom and his groomsmen were greeted by the bridesmaids with fun yet challenging gatecrash games that they had to successfully complete before the groom was allowed to see his bride.

After the challenges, the emotional bride-fetching moment occurred, followed by the unveiling of the bride’s veil by the groom.

Group Phototaking

We then proceeded to take fun group shots with the groomsmen and bridesmaids, capturing the light-hearted spirit of the day.

These photos provided a balance between the formal and playful moments, giving the couple a mix of candid and posed shots to remember.

Tea Ceremony

Next, we moved into the traditional Chinese tea ceremony, starting with the groom’s parents and family. The couple served tea to the elders as a sign of respect, receiving blessings and red packets in return.

Afterward, we headed to the bride’s family home, where the couple repeated the ceremony with the bride’s parents and relatives.
